Positive Symbiosis

Based on the concept of Positive Symbiosis, R&F works with investors, employees, business partners, supply chains, communities, regulators and environmental protection institutions to constantly create values and practice social responsibility.

Approach to Business

R&F has devised a management procedure that covers an entire range of services, to ensure strict criteria are applied in the process of choosing project sites, controlling project quality, develop surrounding facilities and providing property management.

Approach to Environment

R&F actively engages in design of green building. 16 projects of R&F have received China Green Building Label or Certification by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), among which, Beijing Sina Headquarter Laboratory Building has achieved LEED Platinum, the highest level of LEED certification.

Approach to Society

R&F spares no effort in contributing to social charity,

with cumulative donations amounting to RMB 750 million.

  • Public Service

    In 2005, donated 100 police patrol cars and RMB 5 million to the Guangzhou Foundation for Justice and Courage, contributing to the maintenance of public security. In 2007, donated RMB 10 million to the Guangzhou Foundation for Justice and Courage and the Guangzhou Narcotics Control Foundation. In 2013, donated RMB 10 million to the Guangzhou Public Security Police Foundation for purchase of 100 police patrol cars.

    In 2007, as the first private enterprise to partner with the association, R&F signed a four-year strategic cooperation agreement with the Guangzhou Youth Volunteers Association, donated a total of RMB 10 million to support volunteer work in Guangzhou.

    In 2021, donated RMB 55 million for the comprehensive improvement of the urban and rural environment in Haizhu District, Guangzhou.

  • Cultural Education

    In 2003, initiated the establishment of the “Project Hope Private Enterprise Student Aid Fund” and set up the “R&F Project Hope Student Aid Fund”, with cumulative donations nearing RMB 20 million. It was the first Project Hope Student Aid Fund in China established by a private enterprise.

    In 2006, donated RMB 14 million to Jinan University to establish the “R&F Teaching and Scholarship Fund”, supporting the development of the university's infrastructure and resources.

    In 2007, donated RMB 10 million to fund the School of Data and Computer Science building at Sun Yat-sen University.

    In 2017, donated RMB 7.5 million to support the S.-T. Yau College Student Mathematics Contests and to advance mathematics education in China.

    In 2020, donated RMB 22.5 million to Sun Yat-sen University to establish the “Sun Yat-sen University 'Double First-Class' Construction Development Fund” and the “Sun Yat-sen University Student Inspirational Excellence Scholarship”, and RMB 38 million to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies to support its educational development.

    In 2021, donated RMB 15 million to support the coordinated development of education, science, culture, health, and sports in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, and to facilitate campus infrastructure enhancement and talent cultivation.

  • Humanitarian Disaster Relief

    In 2008, donated approximately RMB 15 million to the victims of Wenchuan earthquake.

    In 2010, donated RMB 1 million to the victims of Yushu earthquake.

    In 2010, contributed RMB 6 million towards disaster relief following the severe floods in Hainan's Lingshui and Wenchang counties.

    In 2020, to aid in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, R&F donated RMB 10 million each to the China Youth Development Foundation and the Guangzhou Charity Association, along with daily necessities worth RMB 5 million to Wuhan, amounting to a total of RMB 25 million.

  • Poverty Alleviation

    In 2010, donated RMB 10 million to support the development of poverty-stricken villages in Huizhou.

    In 2011, donated RMB 20 million to uplift the living conditions of impoverished residents lacking productive capacity in the high-altitude cold areas of Qingyuan.

  • Rural Revitalization

    In 2011, invested over RMB 110 million to improve basic public service facilities in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou.

    Since 2018, R&F has developed a series of benchmark rural revitalization projects, including the Jiangdong Fields in Haikou, the Specialty Rice Demonstration Base in Wentan Village, Lingao County, and the Banglang Sweet Potato Industry Base. Through industrial support, rural infrastructure renovation, and local employment generation, R&F is dedicated to to bring happiness to the local residents.

  • Dignity for the Old and Young

    In 2004, R&F contributed RMB 1 million to mark the Guangzhou Charity Association’s 10th anniversary and RMB 10 million to the Guangzhou Children’s Welfare Institute, followed by a further RMB 1.05 million toward the construction of the “R&F Charity Building,” an observation facility for orphaned and disabled children.

    In 2006, donated an additional RMB 15.08 million to the Guangzhou Charity Association to build the medical building for the Guangzhou Home for the Aged. In recognition of its outstanding contributions to charity, R&F was named a "Top Ten Charity Stars" by the Guangzhou Charity Association.


  • Social Inclusion

    Since 2010, to facilitate social inclusion between the Mainland and Hong Kong, R&F has donated nearly RMB 25 million to the New Home Association over the past fifteen years. This funding supports the provision of one-stop professional social services for new arrivals from the Mainland, ethnic minority, and the disadvantaged in Hong Kong. Furthermore, it promotes youth exchange between the two regions, enabling Hong Kong youth to personally experience the Nation's development achievements and strengthen their sense of national identity.

Football Diplomacy

During Spring Festival of 2017, Guangzhou R&F Football Club travelled to Malawi, an African country, to celebrate launch of Malawi Bingu National Stadium – a significant project that symbols friendship between China and Malawi.

Football Aid to Xinjiang

In the end of 2017, Guangzhou R&F Football Club conducted an in-depth filed research in Kashi of Xinjiang and supported rapid and orderly development teenage football in Kashi by kicking off training programs for local football talent and establishing teenage football training base locally.

Accessible Campus Football

R&F set up various football events. “R&F Cup” has been held since 2014, which attracted over 1200 schools, 1300 teams and 25 thousand students every session, becoming the largest campus football event nationwide.

2015, R&F created “Consulate Cup” football match, aiming to forge a football culture exchange event for foreign institutions in China and continuously contribute to football and cultural exchange between China and international community.
